The Hotel Cortez was an odd choice, but ever since the glitch, Mina hasn’t been feeling quite like herself. Of course, she’s heard about the rumors. Watched the countless of Television shows of the hotel with the Avengers before the glitch happened. But that didn’t scare her, It’s nothing she hasn’t handled before. She just wanted to be away- away from anyone that she could possibly recognize. Hotel Cortez would serve that need. After all, her brothers were gone. Half the people in the universe was gone, Her powers- gone. All gone. And if there were ghosts so to speak, it wasn’t as if there was anything for her to provide of use for now, even to the likes of ghosts. She takes a seat at the bar and asks the eccentrically dressed woman for a drink. “Your best bourbon please.”
elizabeth knows when a new guest has arrived at the hotel cortez ; she always does . she wants to watch them , learn about them , and then use the knowledge gained to her benefit . of course , that doesn’t mean she introduces herself to every single soul that passes through the lobby of this cruel mistress , but her eyes are on all , nonetheless .
she is watchful of the woman that arrives this evening , though , taking note of the less than lively demeanor as said individual enters the blue parrot lounge and orders a drink . in the blink of an eye elizabeth is seated next to her , the woman behind the bar flashing the smallest of smiles at the countess . her usual drink is prepared after the guest’s is . “ now , what brings you to the hotel cortez at such a late hour ? ” she’ll begin casually , head turned ever so slightly to look upon the woman beside her . she hadn’t announced herself , and a part of her hopes the other will be startled .
the reason elizabeth has let herself take interest in the other is that , well , newcomers are few and far between . the snap had been widely publicized , everyone in the world becoming knowledgeable of the source and the after effects . with half of the population gone , guests have been few and far between ; the hotel cortez is restless , as are all of its inhabitants .

ON OC CHILDREN: they MAY be accepted, depending on the link between countess and said child. if you’re one of the ‘blood brats’, aka holden or wren or any of the others, elizabeth will accept you rather quickly. children in general, younger ones specifically, elizabeth will fall for and take into her care without a second thought. furthermore, if you are a bartholomew blog, canon or au, elizabeth will love you right away.

Growing up in a loving family, Stefani Bianchi would eventually come to find fame on the popular show My Roanoke Nightmare, cast as the infamous Scathach, Witch of the Woods. Up until then, however, being cast in television shows, as well as movies, was difficult. It’s not that she had no talent, for she’s always been a talented and gifted young woman ( graduated from NYU ), but for such a small time girl with high hopes and dreams, parts were hard to come by. Not to mention, she had very little experience as it was.
Nonetheless, the second she auditioned for the paranormal documentary ‘My Roanoke Nightmare’, network executive Sidney James chose her for the part of Scathach. She shined bright as such a character, catching the eye of many directors after the show aired. Her popularity grew and spread rapidly like wildfire, bulstering her fame to levels high above the show that brought her into the spotlight.
She kindly declines the offer to return to the location of the documentary, having done further research into the history of the land both during and after filming. After, however, she refuses to go back. What happens there disgusts and sickens her, for she’d grown close to many of the other cast members, Dylan at the top of the list, as well as Agnes.
Stefani remains one of only a few living cast members, continuing to stay as far away from the home and forest as possible.
